Frequently asked questions

Questions before you start?

Is healthcare screening available now?

Not yet. This page previews the healthcare experience we are developing. Accounts, screening, subscriptions and monitoring are not available in this first public release.

What sources are planned?

The initial concept combines HHS-OIG LEIE healthcare exclusion records and CMS NPPES provider information. Confirmed source coverage and limitations will be stated before customers purchase.

Can I screen an entire roster?

Roster uploads and individual searches are planned. Supported file formats, limits and included screening volumes will be published with the service.

What does a potential match mean?

A source record may resemble the submitted person or organization. Additional identifiers and human review may be necessary; a name match alone does not establish identity.

How often will monitoring run?

The schedule will depend on source publication timing and the selected service. We will publish the actual schedule and limitations before activation.

Can I receive email and SMS alerts?

Both email and SMS are planned, with customer-controlled notification preferences. SMS availability and allowances will be specified in the package.

Does an NPI confirm current licensure?

No. NPPES provides identifiers and provider-reported information. An NPI is not proof of current professional licensure.
